About the training programme: Hands on Training on Fish Disease Diagnosis and Its Management (February 1 – 12, 2024)
Disease diagnosis refers to the various procedures and techniques used to identify the nature of the disease and to precisely pinpoint the primary and secondary pathogens involved. Proper diagnosis leads to accurate therapies and avoids indiscriminate use of chemotherapeutics. The training programme aims to introduce the trainees to the basics of fish disease diagnosis in relation to fish farming as well as to make a clear understanding of various parameters of different biotic and abiotic components. The training also aims at delivering advanced methodologies for disease detection and knowledge on mitigation measures and fish health through good management practices.

Fisheries professionals working in State Fisheries Department, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Agricultural Universities, Public, Private and Non-Government Organizations in Fisheries and allied sector and rural development your.

The application is to be filled and submitted online by accessing the website https://www.cift.res.in. All kinds of instructions related to application are available on this link. You need to take approval of the competent authority of Employer/Institution/University/ College for application in advance. The final selection will be made only if the application duly recommended by the competent authority is received. The approval (scanned copy) of the competent authority may be sent by email (mfbdvn.training@gmail.com) to the Course Director. The closing date for receipt of applications is 27.01.2024. The total intake of the course is 15 participants and they will be selected on a first come, first served basis. The selected candidates will be intimated by 30.01.2024.
