ICAR Research Complex for Eastern, Patna organized Animal Health Camp under AICRP on Goat Improvement project on 9 January 2024 at Khairimal village, Ward No. 6 & 8, Chakiya block of East Champaran district, Bihar. The village is dominated by SC population and goat farming is an important livelihood option. During the programme, door to door veterinary services were provided. A total of 34 goats was vaccinated with PPR. Deworming was done to 75 goats. Thirty SC farmers were also distributed 40 kg of mineral mixture. Need based treatment was provided to sixteen goats. Total 41 households were covered under this programme.
