Voluntary Blood Donation Camp Organized to Commemorate the 14th Foundation day of BAU, Sabour 08 Aug 2023

A voluntary blood donation camp was organized on 7th August, 2023 in the Sehat Kendra, BAU, Sabour to commemorate the 14th Foundation day of Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour. The camp was inaugurated by Dr D. R. Singh, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, BAU, Sabour. Altogether, 41 students and teachers of BAU, Sabour came forward to donate blood. Addressing the donors and volunteers , Dr. D. R. Singh encouraged the youth to come forward for the cause of humanity. Ms Varsha, Kumari, a first year student of the Bihar Agricultural College, came forward to become the first donor of the camp. She was felicitated by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor. The blood donation camp was co-sponsored by the HDFC Bank Ltd., Bhagalpur and organized under the medical supervision of the Regional Blood Bank, JLNMCH, Bhagalpur. Dr. Anshuman Kohli, Nodal Officer, Sehat Kendra along with Dr Saurabh Kumar Chaoudhary, ANO, BAC, Sabour coordinated with NSS volunteers and NCC cadets to successfully organize this event.
