As part of the ongoing Krishi Samridhi Swarna Week (KSSW), ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra Dimapur, organized a Vaccination and Animal Health Camp at Tsuuma village, Medziphema Block, Chumoukedima district today. The camp aimed to improve livestock health and provided essential veterinary care.

A total of 58 cattle and buffaloes were vaccinated against two major livestock diseases, Haemorrhagic Septicaemia (H.S) and Black Quarter (B.Q). In addition to the vaccinations, the camp also saw the distribution of anthelmintics, vitamin and mineral supplements, and first-aid medicines to 38 farm families.

The experts provided valuable expertise during the camp. The health camp not only addressed immediate animal health concerns but also highlighted the importance of regular vaccinations and proper care in maintaining a healthy livestock population.
