A Skill Development Program on “Pre-processing and drying of fish” was conducted at the Engineering Section of ICAR-CIFT during 5-6th July 2023. The training was inaugurated by the Director, Dr. George Ninan on 5th July 2023. The training program was attended by 15 participants from all over Kerala and Tamil Nadu who were entrepreneurs interested in dryfish production. The training program covered areas related to pre-processing, drying in CIFT dryers, packaging of dried fish, Government schemes for entrepreneurs and about successful entrepreneur. At the end of the training, certificates were distributed by Dr. Murali S., Scientist and Incharge, Engineering Section in the presence of scientists, Dr. Neethu K C and Dr. Aniesrani Delfiya D S of Engineering section and other staffs of CIFT.
