Rythu Nestam live programme conducted at Electronic Wing Studio, PJTSAU, Hyderabad on 30.04.2024 from 10.00 AM – 11-45 AM with scientist from Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU)Horticultural university officials from department of agriculture along with farmers from 110 rythuvedika’s of Telangana. The programme started with Videos developed by Electronic Wing on Green manure crops for soils reclamation followed by Dr R.Preetham Goud Sr.Scientist[Agronomy] and Dr.D.Anitha Principal Scientist [Ento] Vegetables Research Station, Horticultural University, Hyderabad session on “Summer Vegetables Cultivation ”.
A progressive farmer Sri.M.Koteswar Rao from Kusumanchi Khammam shared experience on Green manure crops for better soil health and Sri U.Bal Reddy from Siddipet District on Summer vegetables cultivation. Later Dr. Sukruth Kumar, Principal Scientist [Soil science] IISHM Hyderabad PJTSAU explained about management of problematic soils and the farmers queries from different Rythu Vedikas of Telangana were addressed. The Ryhtu Nestam live programme was attended by Dr.M.Sreenivasulu, Coordinator and Scientists of Electronic Wing ,Sri Singa Reddy DDA along with 4200 farmers and Department Officials form Agriculture and allied sectors at 110 Rythu Vedikas across the state.
