ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, of ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, organized a Raithu Sadasu at Manchal Village, Rangareddy District, in collaboration with IFFCO, focusing on agricultural drones and nano fertilizers.
Dr Chandrakant MH, Senior Scientist & Head, KVK, inaugurated the event and highlighted the benefits of nano urea, which is cost-effective and requires smaller quantities.
Dr Tarunendu Singh, Chief Agriculture Officer, IFFCO, shared results from national field experiments on nano urea across various crops.
Smt Sujatha, Assistant Director, Agriculture, Manchal, urged the farmers to experiment with drone technology on at least one acre.
A total of 220 farmers, including farm women, attended the programme.
