Pantnagar Kisan Fair to be organized from 9 to 12 March 2024. Pantnagar. 26 December 2023 | The meeting of Kisan Mela Advisory Committee was organized in the university under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Dr. Manmohan Singh Chauhan. In the meeting, it was unanimously decided that the upcoming 115th All India Kisan Mela will be organized in the University from 9 to 12 March 2024. The meeting was conducted by Dr. Jitendra Kwatra, Member Secretary and Director of Extension Education of the Committee. All the members of the advisory committee of Kisan Mela were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, many points related to the Kisan Fair like determination of committees for organizing various programs in the Kisan Fair, lectures by scientists to be given during the Kisan Seminar in the fair, visit of farmers to various research centers, honoring progressive farmers, stall holders Prize distribution, proposed budget for successful organization of the fair etc. were discussed. The Dean, Directors, Joint Directors and concerned faculty members of the University were present in the meeting.
