Nutrihub, ICAR-IIMR will be organizing mega event “Nutri-Cereals Multi-stakeholders Mega Convention 3.0” jointly with Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers’ Welfare, (DAC & FW) Government of India. India, on 17th and 18th September 2021 at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) Novotel, Hyderabad. This event is going to be a curtain raiser for series of events to be organized in run up for “International Year of Millets(IYOM) 2023”.
The following are important highlights of the two-day mega event planned-
- • Stakeholders : Central & State Governments, Scientists, Nutritionists, Dieticians, Farmers, Industry Professionals, Chefs, Entrepreneurs etc.
- • All will be converging at convention with DAC &FW of ministry of agriculture and farmers welfare being in the forefront and ICAR – IIMR being the nodal agency to draw the Blueprint of series of activities planned as part of “International year of Millets – 2023”
- • Delegates from several states such as Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu etc., will be attending the event.
- • There will be Chef’s Millet Cookery Show and Exhibition of Millet Startups
