NCC Cadets 1UK R&V SQN NCC Pantnagar organised a tree plantation drive on 15.07.2024 the occasion of ‘Harela’ festival and to commemorate 25 years of ‘Vijay Diwas’. The cadets took time out from their ongoing final examinations of B.V.Sc. & A.H. and enthusiastically participated in this important drive to highlight the importance of saving the environment and safeguarding the planet Earth. More than 100 NCC Cadets participated wholeheartedly in planting 100 saplings under #Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam and #Plant 4 Mother. The Horticulture Department of Pantnagar University generously provided 100 saplings free of cost. The NCC Cadets have named these saplings after the brave sons of Kargil War to nurture the patriotic feelings while caring for the trees.
