ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Assam, in collaboration with NABARD, organized an interphase meeting cum brainstorming session for the promotion of agriculture and the allied sector today at the institute’s conference hall. The interphase meeting involved triparty delegations from ICAR-IARI Assam, NABARD, and the Mishing Autonomous Council (MAC).
Dr L. K. Baishya, SIC, ICAR-IARI Assam, delivered two presentations highlighting the activities and possible opportunities where NABARD can collaborate with ICAR-IARI Assam, especially in the area of natural resource management and the fishery sector. A detailed discussion took place between the delegates.
The meeting was attended by different DDMs, ADMs, and other officials of NABARD; executive members of MAC; scientists; and technical and administrative staff of IARI Assam.
The meeting was coordinated by Dr Arpan Bhowmik, Dr Amjad Balange, Dr L. K. Baishya, Dr Abhijith K. P. from ICAR-IARI Assam, and Shri Amlan Tamuli from NABARD.
