In this race of development, we should not get lost Natural beauty is the pride of heritage, hence Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Pantnagar. 18 September 2024 | Mango (Mangifera indica), Laila Majnu (Cenchrus biflorus) and Hamelia (Hamelia patens) saplings were planted under the tree plantation campaign organized at the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences of the University, which was an important initiative in making the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign run by the Prime Minister a success. This campaign was organized with the joint efforts of the Veterinary Society and NSS. This campaign played an important role in understanding biodiversity and ecological balance, moving towards sustainable development, as well as making students aware of environmental conservation. This initiative can become the basis for green projects in future, which can include developing more green areas, creating student clubs focused on conservation and research related to plant growth and environmental benefits which are of global welfare. Dean Dr. A. participated in the said campaign. H. Ahmed, apart from the faculty and students of the college, the staff also participated enthusiastically.
