ICAR-ATARI, Ludhiana along with Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) of Zone-I organised various activities under the “Swachhta Hi Sewa” Campaign from 15th September to 2nd October 2023. At the start of the campaign, all the officials and staff of ICAR-ATARI, Ludhiana, and KVKs took the Swachhta Pledge. Different activities were organized under the theme “Garbage-Free India”.
All the 72 KVKs along with ICAR-ATARI, Ludhiana conducted a cleanliness drive from 15th September – to 2nd October 2023 (at Office premises & adjacent areas like educational institutions), Plastic-free campus, Pledge for Single-Use Plastic ban and Zero waste events etc. The special campaign was also conducted on 1st October 2023 in which the office rooms and other departments were cleaned and office space was freed from the waste and adjacent areas of campus were freed from the bushes and other undesirable weeds and plants. All the staff participated in this cleanliness drive.
