The Summer Hockey Coaching Camp, organized by the Hockey Club, Aligarh Muslim University concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants by the chief guest, Prof Moinuddin, Member, Executive Council, AMU.
In his address, Prof Moinuddin urged the participants to attend the practice session regularly and sharpen their sports skills to excel in Hockey and bring laurels to the university and their families. He said he will request the university administration to give relaxation in attendance to sportspersons who wish to achieve success in sports.
Prof S Amjad Ali Rizvi, Secretary, University Games Committee also took part in the distribution of certificates.
Prof Ghulam Sarwar Hashmi, President, Hockey Club said that about 30 boys and girls from different institutions of Aligarh participated in the summer coaching camp organized to celebrate India’s G20 Presidency and mark the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
In a symbolic gesture to address global warming, Prof Moinuddin was presented with a potted plant.
Mr Anisur Rahman Khan, DDPE and Mr Arshad Mahmood, ADPE conducted the training.
