The Agricultural Education Division of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research organized a hybrid workshop for editors at the NASC Complex, Pusa, bringing together experts, educators, and researchers from across the country. Chaired by Dr R.C. Agrawal, Deputy Director General (Agri Edu), the workshop aimed to strengthen partnerships between researchers, editors, and publishers, fostering a collaborative and transparent environment. It equipped researchers with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate the publication process effectively. Additionally, the workshop addressed the future of academic publishing, emphasizing innovation, ethics, and accessibility to contribute to a vibrant research ecosystem.

Dr Agrawal stated that the researchers must be equipped with the knowledge and skills required to structure and present their findings in a manner that meets the standards of high-impact journals.

Dr Bimlesh Mann, Assistant Director General (EP&HS), emphasized promoting the dissemination of high-quality research that can transform society.

The experts delivered presentations and shared their invaluable insights on best practices, editorial standards, the evolving dynamics of the publishing world, and strategies for amplifying the impact of high-quality research.

More than 1000 participants, comprising Vice-Chancellors of SAUs, CAUS, Directors of ICAR Institutes, Assistant Director General, and other officials from ICAR, Deans, Heads of Departments, faculties, scientists, librarians, research scholars, and students from ICAR and agricultural universities, attended the programme in hybrid mode.
