Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan) is a scheme launched by the Indian government in 2019 to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers across the country. Registration process for PM Kisan
The registration process for PM Kisan is simple and can be done either online or offline.
Online registration:
1. Visit the official website of PM Kisan https://pmkisan.gov.in/
2. Click on the “New Farmer Registration” tab.
3. Enter your Aadhaar number and click on the “Get Data” button. Your details will be fetched from the UIDAI database.
4. Fill in the required details such as name, gender, date of birth, bank account details, etc.
5. Upload the scanned copy of your Aadhaar card, land documents, and passport-size photograph.
6. Review all the details and submit the form.
7. A registration reference number will be generated, which can be used to track the status of your application.
Offline registration:
1. Visit the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or agriculture department office in your area.
2. Collect the PM Kisan registration form.
3. Fill in all the required details in the form.
4. Submit the filled-in form along with your Aadhaar card, land documents, and passport-size photograph.
5. Once the verification process is complete, you will receive the first instalment of Rs. 2,000 directly in your bank account.
