Diwali party was organized on 14.11.2023 November in the Department of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), under the leadership of Dr Kuldeep Singh, Head of the department. It was an elated moment for the College of Agriculture which clinched the six ruling trophies in the Inter-College Youth Festival for the academic year 2023-24. The efforts of the teachers who acted as conveners in various committees were appreciated on the occasion. Dr Manmeet Kaur, Convener of Theatre Events; Dr Lopamudra Mohapatra, Convener of Literacy events; and Dr Lakhwinder Kaur, Convener of Fine Arts and Heritage events, were lauded for putting in best efforts to emerge as winners in diverse items. The students were also appreciated not only for their whole-hearted participation but also for breaking ground in achieving various champion trophies. Harmanjot Singh, a second year M.Sc. student, was awarded the first prize in poetic recitation, creative writing and one act play. Besides, Samleen Kaur, a second year M.Sc student, had participated in skit. On the eve of Diwali, the staff of this department was gifted a token of love for their untiring services and contribution to the departmental work.
