Training Program
This is a Refresher Course Cum Workshop on 3Rs’ Principles in Laboratory Animal Science for the benefit of the faculties, research scholars and scientists involved in laboratory animal research in various state and central universities, pharmaceutical and contract research organizations. The focus of this training is to impart knowledge on the application of 3Rs’ principles, ie. Replacement, Reduction and Refinement in veterinary and bio-medical research. The venue for the workshop is LAM unit, CAHS, Madhavaram Milk Colony, TANUVAS, Chennai – 600 051.

- In vivo – Zebrafish handling, breeding, dose administration and organ collection.
- Reduction Principles
- Sample size calculation, statistical power analysis, experimental designing and data
analysis

- Handling, sexing and restraint of mice, rats, guinea pigs and rabbit

Training cum workshop Fee: Rs. 8500/- + Rs. 1530 (18% GST). Total Fee Rs. 10,030/- (Rupees ten thousand and thirty only). Applicants must send their application along with payment (Demand Draft for Rs. 10030/- to be taken in favour of ‘Self financing scheme on Laboratory animal training’).
