The ICAR-IIHR conducted a Capacity Building and Input distribution programmes in Collaboration with Indira Gandhi Krishi Viswavidyalaya, KVK, Surguja, Chhattisgarh and TREND on 21stJuly 2024 as part TSP of the Institute.
Dr. Rajesh Chouksey, Head, KVK, Surguja, district of Chhattisgarh welcomed the gathering and Dr. R. Senthilkumar, Principal Scientist delivered a lecture on ICAR-IIHR technologies suitable for the region and explained in detail about the Canopy management in Mango. Dr. Ajay, Director, TREND delivered talk on significance of IIHR technologies in the food system to achieve sustainable development goals. The inputs such as vegetable crop technologies (Tomato, Chillies, Amarantus, Palak and Pumpkin) were distributed to all the TSP beneficieries. The programme ended with concluding remarks and vote of thanks by Dr. Sandeep Sharma, Head, KVK, Manipat, Chhattisgarh. Around 50 ST farmers were benefitted by this programme.
