ICAR-Directorate of Knowledge Management in Agriculture organised a brainstorming session on developing co-publishing guidelines for ICAR at the National Agriculture Science Complex, New Delhi today.
Dr Joykrushna Jena, Deputy Director General (Fisheries Science), ICAR, emphasized the importance of developing an effective marketing strategy to ensure better reach and circulation among the target audience.
In his concluding remarks, Dr. Jena emphasized the importance of making e-books, journals, and research papers accessible to the international market.
Dr Raghavendra Bhatta, Deputy Director General (Animal Science), ICAR, stressed the importance of researching student interests. He also called for shifting the focus from ease of business to mass circulation and its broader impact.
Dr Anuradha Agrawal, Project Director, ICAR-DKMA, briefed about the ongoing publishing activities of ICAR-DKMA, the scope of co-publishing in ICAR, and the objective of the brainstorming session.
