Pantnagar. 24 June, 2024. Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Manmohan Singh Chauhan, Directorate of Research and Startup Incubation and Innovation Center, IIT Kanpur jointly organized Agritech Innovation and Startup Meet program in Dr. VPS Arora Auditorium of the College of Agribusiness Management of the University today. Dr. Amita Joshi, Deputy General Manager, Biotechnology Industry Research Assistant Council (BIEC), New Delhi: Prof. Amitabh Bandopadhyay Professor and Head of Department, BSBE Department and Associate Professor – In-charge, Startup Innovation and Innovation Center, IIT, Kanpur, Dr. R. S. Jadoun Dean College of Agribusiness Management Dr. A.S. Nain Director Research Dr. Dhirendra Singh and Dr. Anil Kumar Joint Director Research were present on the stage.
Dr. A.S. Nain informed everyone about the outline of the program and highlighted the discoveries made by the University for Zero Till, Khaira control and 354 species and other technologies developed by the University. Department Head Computer Science Dr. Samantray explained in detail about STRIDE Startup. Dr. Ravi Mohan discussed the difference between startup and business. On this occasion, Prof. Abhitabh Bandopadhyay said that this will be the first program which will promote innovation in collaboration with the University and IIT Kanpur. He talked about creating a mechanism for agritech startup. Dr. Jadoun highlighted the basic points related to startup and told about Agritech Innovation Startup Agencies, Pant Vision Park, STRIDE, IIC related to startup in the University.
Dr. Amita Joshi spoke on ‘Role of BIRAC in promoting agricultural technology and startup and Ms. Saswati Mukherjee, Manager Marketing and Communication CCS NIA. M. presented their views on the opportunities for agricultural entrepreneurship under RKVY Raftar Agri Business Incubator.

Ltd., Mr. Rajiv Mandal on Arogyaam Medisoft Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Samrat Kaushik on Samak Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Amit Kumar Srivastava on Steelsweb Technologies Pvt. Ltd. made presentations in the event. From Strides Innovators of the University, Mr. Manish Tripathi gave presentation on Falcon Info Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Sagar Nath on Shunya India Ltd., Rishikesh / Haldwani, Ms. Namita Bisht on Mastik Mountain, Uttarakhand, Mr. Harendra Singh on Riyat Eco Farms Pvt. Ltd., Nanakmatta and Ms. Bindu Vasini on Daksh Enterprises, Kichha.

From the University’s Stroids Innovators, Mr. Manish Tripathi presented on Falcon Info Private Limited, Mr. Sagar Nath on Shunya India Limited, Rishikesh/Haldwani, Mr. Namita Bisht on Mastik Mountain, Uttarakhand, Mr. Harendra Singh on Riyat Eco Farms Private Limited, Nanakmatta and Ms. Bindu Vasini on Daksh Enterprises, Kichha. At the beginning of the program, Dr. Dhirendra Singh welcomed everyone and at the end of the program, Dr. Anil Kumar thanked everyone. In the program, women of self-help groups from Khatima exhibited their agricultural products. Director Communication Dr. J.P. Jaiswal, Dean Fisheries Dr. Awadhesh Kumar, Acting Dean Agriculture Dr. M.S. Pal, Dr. Ashutosh Singh, Dr. Mukesh Pandey, Dr. Pramod Malla, all Joint Directors of Research Directorate, faculty members and students were present in the program.
