ICAR-Directorate of Coldwater Fisheries Research, Bhimtal organized a field day-cum-input distribution programme at village Harinagar, Bhimtal, Uttarakhand today under SCSP. During the field day, health management practices aimed at enhancing the technical skills and knowledge for sustainable fish farming were discussed by the experts.
Farm inputs like ice boxes, thermometers and pH meters were also distributed among the farmers to support their ongoing farming activities.
The programme was coordinated by SCSP team of ICAR-DCFR under the guidance of Dr Pramod Kumar Pandey, Director, ICAR-DCFR.
A total of 19 farmers from the scheduled caste community participated, and gained valuable insights essential for composite fish farming.
