A two-day entrepreneurial training program on mushroom cultivation was conducted by the Mushroom Lab, Division of Crop Protection on 3rd and 4th, December, 2024. The program was attended by 20 farmers from Ernakulam, Kerala under the Kerala State Horticulture Mission’s RKVY Mushroom Village Scheme. Participants received advanced, hands-on training covering various aspects of mushroom cultivation, including processing and value addition, mechanization and energy management in mushroom farms, ancillary activities related to the mushroom industry, and utilizing mushroom technology as a social enterprise.
