PAU’s Skill Development Center under the able guidance of Dr. Makhan Singh Bhullar, Director Extension Education, concluded the “Quarterly Skill Development Training Course on Comprehensive Agriculture for Young Farmers Batch-131” for the farmers and farmer women of Punjab. 48 trainees participated in this quarterly training course, out of which 23 trainees successfully completed the course. A closing ceremony was held for this course in which all the students were awarded certificates.
The chief guest of the closing ceremony, Dr. Makhan Singh Bhullar, Director Extension Education, motivated the trainees to stay true to their roots and flourish their profession. Dr. Bhullar released the booklet specially prepared for the trainees of this course with his Kar Kamals. He said that this lecture collection is a good source of information for the trainees. They can get maximum benefit from the information obtained through this course.
Giving information about this, Dr. Rupinder Kaur, Associate Director (Skill Development) said that this training course started on August 01, 2024 and was conducted till October 30, 2024. On this occasion, Course Coordinator Dr. Preetinder Kaur shared detailed information about the role of this course and also shared the course report with everyone. Finally, the Co-Coordinator of this course Mrs. Kanwaljit Kaur thanked the guests, subject experts of the university and the trainees and advised the trainees to adopt the information obtained after this course in their profession.
