Tamil Nadu Agricultural University The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University ranks among the premier State Agricultural Universities in India. It originated with the establishment of an Agricultural School at Saidapet, Madras, Tamil Nadu, in 1868, and was subsequently relocated to Coimbatore, becoming the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in 1971. TNAU provides thirteen undergraduate, forty postgraduate, and twenty-seven doctoral degree programs across 18 Constituent Colleges. The University conducts research at over 40 stations throughout Tamil Nadu and operates 15 Farm Science Centres for extension programs.

Centre for Agricultural Nanotechnology
Tamil Nadu Agricultural University was a pioneer in establishing a dedicated Department for Nano Science & Technology in 2010, supported by a special grant of Rs. 12.0 Crores from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. In 2022, this department was upgraded as the Centre for Agricultural Nanotechnology. The Centre boasts  cutting-edge infrastructure, skilled personnel, and robust research funding from both international and national donors. The Centre focuses on nano-agricultural inputs such as nano-seed science, nano-fertilizers, nano-herbicides, nano-pesticides, and hydrogels for moisture retention.

About the Conference
The Centre for Agricultural Nanotechnology, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University is hosting the Global Conference on Nano Connect 2024. This two-day event will feature expert presentations, insights, networking opportunities, and panel discussions for scientists, researchers, doctoral and graduate students, and other members of academia and industry. The Global Conference on Nano Connect 2024 presents a chance to explore trends in nanotechnology and agriculture, showcase research, receive feedback from global experts, identify new research opportunities, and foster a network of researchers and scientists in the field of Agricultural Nanotechnology. Global Conference on Nano Connect 2024 will be an in-person event and cover following themes in Agricultural Nanotechnology.

Conference date : 5 to 6 September 2024

Original contributions are invited from any of the listed theme areas for presentation in the seminar. Extended abstracts are to be in MS word format of A4 size in single space (font size 12), Times New Roman, limited to 500 words with title, author(s) name and affiliation with contact address, e-mail and phone number. Abstracts include methodology, results with a table or graphical illustration, discussion, references (not more than three) and significance of the work.
