The Central Horticultural Experiment Station (CHES), ICAR-IIHR, Bhubaneswar showcased a captivating stall in exhibition at ICAR-CIFA, Bhubaneswar on 13th July, 2024 as a part of Fish Farmers Day celebrations. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Himanshu Pathak, Hon’ble Secretary, DARE and Director General, ICAR. He was accompanied by Dr. Joykrushna Jena, Deputy Director General (Fisheries Science), Dr. P. K. Sahoo, Director, ICAR-CIFA, Dr. A. K. Nayak, Director, ICAR-NRRI, and Dr. A. K. Rai, ADG (ICT), ICAR. During the visit, Dr. Gobinda Chandra Acharya, Head, CHES-IIHR, Bhubaneswar explained new advancements in horticulture made by CHES and IIHR as a whole. Dr. Deepa Samant and Dr. A.V.V. Koundinya, Scientists of CHES, Bhubaneswar also participated in the programme. The visitors were benefited by interactive demonstrations showcasing the latest advancements in horticulture sector, live demonstrations of technologies, informative posters etc in the stall.
