Hon’ble Secretary, Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE) and Director General, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Dr. Himanshu Pathak visited ICAR-Research Complex for Eastern Region, Patna on 27th Feb, 2023. He was warmly welcomed by Director of the institute Dr. Anup Das. Dr. Pathak interacted with all the Scientists, Administrative and Technical staffs of the institute. Director of the institute briefed about the progress made by the institute. He highlighted on research achievements in area of strategic and adaptive research for efficient integrated management of natural resources, rice-fallow programme, IFS programme, wet land area management, year around fodder production, conservation agriculture, release of varieties in different crops for different agro-ecological conditions (drought, flood etc.), technologies dissemination and millet production.
