KVK, Palem organised Training programme on ”Integrated crop management in Ridge gourd” at KVK, Palem, Nagarkurnool dist. on 08.11.2023. Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS (Horticulture), KVK, Palem has given Training on high yielding variety and hybrids, seed treatment, integrated nutrient management, and integrated pest and disease management. Explained special operations like drip and mulching systems, biofertilizer application, and fertigation techniques and pandal system to reduce the cost of cultivation. farmer-scientist interaction held at the end of the session and given solutions to farmers’ queries about vegetable crops. Ridge gourd field visit to explain advances in ridge gourd production. In this training Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS (Horticulture), KVK, Palem, Dr. B. Rajasekhar, SMS(Extension), Dr. O.Shaila, SMS(PP) and Raghuvaran singh, YP-1 and 36 vegetable farmers were participated.
