Under the dynamic leadership, guidance and motivation of Dr. V. P. Chovatia, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor
and with support of Dr. A. G. Pansuriya, Director of Research & Dean P.G. studies, Dr. N. B. Jadav, Directorate
of Extension Education, Dr. Y. H. Ghelani, Registrar, Dr. R. M. Solanki, Director of Student’s Welfare, JAU,
Junagadh and Dr. H. D. Rank, Principal and Dean, CAET, JAU, Junagadh, An Expert Talk on “OVERSEAS
EDUCATION AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES FOR AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERS” was organised
by College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh, on 18th
December, 2025.
An expert talk was given by Mr. Terfin Chandra (CAET JAU Alumnus, B Tech 2022 & M. S. Food Process
Engineering in Texas A&M University, USA), and now working as Process Engineer in ConAgra Brands, MNC,
USA. As part of the Student Counselling and Career Guidance initiative, said Expert Talk was organised with
the objective of guiding and motivating the students for the career opportunities in overseas and professional
growth after graduation. Also, Dr. M N Dabhi, HoD-PFE, Dr. M S Dulawat, HoD-REE, Dr. H V Parmar, Rector,
Prof. G S Khardi, Convener-Student Counselling Cell, Dr. C S Matholiya, NSS Officer, Prof. G D Gohil and Prof.
M J Gojiya were also remained present. Total 100 UG students and 10 faculties have participated in the said
