As part of the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) project, ICAR- Directorate of Cashew Research organized an event to promote kitchen gardens on 11.08.2023. On the occasion, vegetable seed kits were distributed. The SC beneficiaries under MGMG villages were provided with vegetable seed kits having Tomato, Brinjal, Palak, Amaranthus, Bottle gourd, Pumpkin seeds, and Pole beans. They were encouraged to develop kitchen gardens in their backyard. They were also sensitized about the nutritional quality of food and its importance.
