The 31st meeting of the Management Committee of the Institute was successfully organized today at ICAR-Directorate of Weed Research (DWR), Jabalpur.
Dr. J.S. This program was organized under the chairmanship of Mishra, Director (DWR) and Chairman, Management Committee. In his welcome address, the Director shared information on the achievements of the last year including ongoing research, dissemination and training in the Directorate.
Senior scientists of the Directorate as well as scientists nominated by ICAR, Dr. G. Ravindrachari, Hyderabad, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Modipuram, Meerut, Dr. Anil Dixit, Raipur, Dr. Dinkar Sharma, Jabalpur and two progressive farmers from Jabalpur nominated by the Union Agriculture Minister, Shri Kulkit Ram Chandra, Saradhar District Raigarh, Chhattisgarh and Shri Dhunv Kumar Naik, Village- Salaiya, District- Katni participated in the said meeting. In the meeting, various administrative, management and budget related agendas of the Directorate were discussed in detail and permission and suggestions were given by the committee on them. The meeting was focused on making available cheap, effective and simple technology to increase agricultural production and farmers’ income in the coming times.
Shri Rajendra Hadge, Administrative Officer and Member Secretary presented the action taken on the minutes of the last meeting and the outline of the programs to be conducted in the future.
