Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, also known as PM-Kisan, is a scheme launched by the Government of India in February 2019. The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers in India, with an aim to augment their income. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs. 6,000 per annum is given to eligible farmers in three equal installments.

Alternatively, farmers can also visit their nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) and register for the scheme. The registration process is simple and free of cost.
