Spray of Pink Stage in Apple with Mancozeb and Chlorpyriphos

The pink stage in apple is a critical growth stage where the blossom turns into a fruit. An essential step in apple farming is to ensure that the fruit is adequately protected from harmful pests and diseases that can damage or destroy the fruit. Farmers can achieve this by spraying their apple trees with the right amount of pesticides and fungicides and following the right procedure.

One of the most effective pesticides used in apple farming is Mancozeb. This fungicide can control various fungal diseases such as apple scab, powdery mildew, and sooty blotch. The recommended dosage for Mancozeb is 600gm per 200 liters of water. Farmers should spray the fruit trees with Mancozeb during the pink stage of apple growth to protect the forming fruit from fungal diseases.

Along with Mancozeb, farmers may also use Biozaim, a bio-fungicide that contains organic properties to control various fungal diseases. The recommended dosage of Biozaim is 400ml per 200-litre water. Farmers can spray Biozaim on apple trees one day after spraying Mancozeb.

After one day of Biozaim spray, farmers should apply Chlorpyriphos, a potent insecticide that can control various insect pests such as aphids, caterpillars, and mites. The recommended dosage for Chlorpyriphos is 400ml per 200 liters of water. Farmers can use Chlorpyriphos at the pink stage of apple growth to protect the fruit from insect pests.

Before spraying any chemicals, farmers must ensure they wear proper protective gear such as gloves, masks, and goggles to prevent inhalation and skin contact. They should also follow the recommended dosage and application procedure to prevent under or over-application of the chemicals.

In conclusion, a combination of Mancozeb, Biozaim, and Chlorpyriphos is an effective way to protect apple trees from fungal diseases and insect pests. Farmers should follow the recommended dosage and application procedure and utilize proper protective gear when spraying chemicals on apple trees.
