Title: Kalia Status and Its Impact on Agriculture in Odisha

Installment information of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

As part of the government’s efforts to support farmers across India, the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched in 2019. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to farmers and help them improve their overall income. Under the scheme, eligible farmers receive INR 6,000 annually in three equal installments, deposited directly into their bank accounts.

To apply for the scheme, farmers must meet certain criteria, including owning less than two hectares of land and being part of one of the registered categories, such as farmers cultivating crops, horticulture, or animal husbandry. Once the farmer is approved, they can receive their first installment right away and are required to fill out an application form to receive the subsequent two installments.

The first installment is usually credited between April and June, while the second and third installments are credited in August or September and December, respectively. Farmers can track their installment status by visiting the PM Kisan portal or by contacting their local Department of Agriculture.

One important thing to note is that farmers who do not receive their payments on time must notify the authorities immediately. The Agriculture Department may then take adequate measures to ensure that the farmer receives their payment without any further delay. Additionally, farmers who have not received their first installment should also check their eligibility and application status to ensure they meet all the required criteria.

Overall, the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a well-designed program that benefits farmers across India. The scheme’s installment system ensures that farmers receive financial assistance throughout the year, thereby allowing them to plan and invest in their farming business better. Finally, the scheme has brought much-needed relief to Indian farmers, who have been facing several challenges in recent years, such as crop failures and low returns.
