All farmers in India growing crops on an area of land up to 2 hectares are eligible to apply for the PMFBY scheme. The scheme covers all food crops (cereals, millets, pulses), oilseeds, vegetables, and commercial crops that are grown during the kharif, rabi, and summer seasons.
