Registration Process

To avail of the benefits of the PM-KISAN scheme, farmers must register themselves and their land details on the PM-KISAN portal. Here’s the step-by-step process:

1. Visit the official PM-KISAN website – https://pmkisan.gov.in.

2. Click on the ‘Farmers Corner’ option on the home page.

3. Select the ‘New Farmer Registration’ option.

4. Enter the required details such as Aadhaar number, name, father’s name, mobile number, bank account details, and land details.

5. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

6. Once the details are submitted, the verification process starts. The status of their application can be checked on the website.

7. Once the application is approved, the farmers start receiving the financial assistance of INR 6,000 per year.
