Fertigation schedule for brinjal up to 30 days

Certainly, here is an article on Fertigation Schedule for Brinjal up to 30 days:

Brinjal, also known as eggplant, is a highly nutritious and delicious vegetable that is commonly grown in many parts of the world. It is best grown in warm climates with well-drained fertile soils. Proper fertilization is necessary for growing high-quality and productive brinjal plants. Fertigation is an efficient method of fertilizing crops through irrigation systems. In this article, we will provide a detailed fertigation schedule for brinjal up to 30 days.

Day 1-7: At this stage, the brinjal seedlings are still establishing their root systems and require high amounts of phosphorus for root development. Apply a solution with a 1:2:1 NPK ratio, containing 10-20 ppm phosphorus, 20-30 ppm nitrogen, and 10-20 ppm potassium. Apply this solution twice a week during the first week.

Day 8-14: The brinjal seedlings are now growing actively, and their vegetative growth requires higher nitrogen levels. Apply a solution with a 2:1:1 NPK ratio, containing 20-30 ppm nitrogen, 10-15 ppm phosphorus, and 10-15 ppm potassium. Apply this solution twice a week during the second week.

Day 15-21: The brinjal plants are now entering their reproductive stage, and they require high potassium and phosphorus levels for flower and fruit development. Apply a solution with a 1:2:3 NPK ratio containing 15-20 ppm phosphorus, 10-15 ppm nitrogen, and 20-30 ppm potassium. Apply this solution twice a week during the third week.

Day 22-28: The brinjal fruits are developing and require high potassium levels to ripen properly. Apply a solution with a 0:0:4 NPK ratio containing 30-40 ppm potassium. Reduce the nitrogen and phosphorus levels to 5-10 ppm each. Apply this solution twice a week during the fourth week.

Day 29-30: Reduce the fertigation frequency to once a week and apply the same solution as day 22-28.

In conclusion, brinjal plants require adequate and balanced feeding for optimal growth and yield. Fertigation is an effective way to provide nutrients to the plants through the irrigation system. The above fertigation schedule can be adjusted based on soil and plant nutrient requirements, weather conditions, and irrigation rate. A regular soil and tissue analysis will help to fine-tune the fertigation schedule and optimize the brinjal crop production.
