Beneficiary status of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana information

As part of its efforts to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers in India, the government of India launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan) in 2019. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive direct cash transfer of Rs. 6,000 per year in three installments of Rs. 2,000 each. This scheme has been hailed as a significant step in improving the financial condition of the country’s farmers.

To be eligible for PM-Kisan, beneficiaries must satisfy certain criteria. The scheme is applicable to landholding farmers who own cultivable land of up to two hectares. It is important to note that the scheme is not applicable to institutional landholders or farmers who have retired from government service. Beneficiaries must ensure that their land records are uploaded to the PM-Kisan portal and that their Aadhaar numbers and bank account details are verified.

Beneficiaries can check their status of the scheme by visiting the official PM-Kisan website and entering their Aadhaar number, bank account number or registered mobile number. Eligible farmers who have submitted their application successfully and meet the eligibility conditions will receive the first installment of Rs. 2,000 in their bank accounts directly.

It is worth noting that under PM-Kisan, the financial assistance is provided to eligible beneficiaries on a per household basis only. This means that if a family has multiple land-holding members, they cannot expect to receive more than one installment of Rs. 6,000 per year as a family unit. Additionally, in case the beneficiary has already received the first installment amount of Rs. 2,000, they can track the status of the remaining installments on the PM-Kisan portal.

To ensure proper implementation of the scheme, the government has undertaken several measures such as the creation of a dedicated administrative committee to oversee the initiative. This committee is responsible for monitoring the registration and verification of farmers, ensuring compliance with eligibility criteria, and disbursing the funds directly to the bank accounts of beneficiaries.

In conclusion, the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is one of the most important initiatives of the government of India aimed at alleviating the financial burden of Indian farmers. The scheme provides direct cash aid to eligible beneficiaries with a goal to help them achieve a better livelihood. By tracking the scheme status on the PM-Kisan portal, beneficiaries can ensure that they receive the benefits of the scheme in a timely and effective manner.
