Beneficiary status of Pm Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

As per the Pm Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farming families in India receive financial support of Rs. 6,000 annually. The beneficiary status of this program is decided by certain criteria that must be met.

The first criteria is that the recipient must be a farmer or involved in agricultural activities, and should have at least 2 hectares of cultivable land. The program is applicable only to small and marginal farmers.

Secondly, the beneficiary status is decided based on the income of the farmer. Any individual with a monthly income of more than Rs. 10,000 is not eligible for this scheme. Also, any farmer receiving a pension or subsidy from the government is not eligible for this program.

Thirdly, the beneficiary must have an Aadhar card. As this is a direct benefit transfer system, the government has made it mandatory for the beneficiary to have an Aadhar number.

Fourthly, the beneficiary status is only applicable to one person per family. In case there are multiple eligible members in a family, only one member can avail the benefits of this scheme.

Lastly, the beneficiary status is assessed and verified by the state government. The state government is responsible for carrying out a survey to identify eligible farmers and upload their details on the dedicated portal.

Overall, the scheme aims to provide financial assistance to farmers and their families who are struggling to make ends meet. The beneficiary status of this program has been established with the objective of ensuring that the funds reach the intended recipients, and are not misused or misappropriated.
