Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) is a scheme introduced by the Government of India in 2019 to provide financial assistance to the farmers of the country. The department is responsible for the overall implementation and monitoring of the scheme. The department has identified the State Nodal Agencies (SNAs) to implement the scheme at the state level. The responsibility of identification of beneficiaries under the scheme rests with the state government.
