Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana is a welfare scheme launched by the government of Uttar Pradesh to ensure the welfare and upliftment of farmers in the state. The scheme was launched on 20 August 2020 by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

In addition to this, farmers under the scheme are also provided with a life insurance cover of Rs. 5 lakh in case of accidental death or permanent disability due to any reason. Moreover, the government has also facilitated the issuance of Kisan Credit Cards to farmers, which will enable them to access credit facilities at low-interest rates to meet their various agricultural needs.
Furthermore, under the scheme, farmers are also eligible for various subsidies and incentives such as subsidy on farming equipment, seedlings, fertilizers, and various other agricultural inputs. The scheme aims to empower farmers and enable them to improve their income and living standards.
