An exposure visit was conducted for 20 SC women farmers to AICRP on Home Science and Millet Production & Incubation Center (MPIC), PJTSAU on 16th February 2023. The visit was conducted as a part of Three-days Training Programme for Women Farmers on “Value Addition of Millets for Enhancing Nutritional Security” during 15-17th February, 2023 at ICAR-CRIDA under SCSP where hands on training was provided for the trainees. Dr. Neela Rani, Unit Coordinator, AICRP on Home Science briefed about the activities and Dr. Kamalaja explained about nutritional security. Later Dr. Shweta exposed the farmers about drudgery reducing farm implements suitable for farm women. After that trainees visited Millet Production & Incubation Center (MPIC), PJTSAU where hands on training provided on primary processing, secondary processing and preparation of products such as biscuit making, rawa making etc. Dr. Anila Kumari & Ms. Pradeepa facilitated this hands-on training. They also trained on packaging of products. The exposure visit was coordinated by Dr. CN Anshida Beevi & Dr. Suvana S.
